Carl Hull, 92, of Charlottesville, VA died at Westminster Canterbury on October 5, 2013. He was born on January 29, 1921 in Germany.
He is survived by his wife, Inge of Charlotesville, VA
Carl's life was a life well lived. After surviving WWII, in Germany, he came to the United States in l946 and worked for British Information Services for many years. When computer use became more wide spread in the business world, he switched careers and worked as systems analyst for several leading corporations
His avocation had always been music, both as listener as well as composer. When he and his wife moved to Charlottesville in l984, he devoted himself to volunteer work, mostly in music related areas as well as for the book sales division of the Jefferson/Madison Public Library. Being a people oriented person, he also worked with international students through the International Hosting Program of the University of Virginia, and he became a f riend and mentor to them.
He is not dead, he merely changed his being.
He lives with us in memories, though not seeing.
In the loving memories of his wife Inge, of Donna, and of the many friends whose life he touched.
