Clara Kidd Fitzgerald, 95, died at The Laurel of Charlottesville on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. She was born in Roseland, VA on December 13, 1919 to the late Robert T. Kidd and Indiana Johnson Kidd. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Harold (Ozark) Patton, five brothers and three sisters and her husband, Leslie R. Fitzgerald.

She is survived by two daughters, Anne Patton, Ruby Seal and husband Wayne, and one son, Leslie (Pug) Fitzgerald, and wife Lou all of Crozet, VA; ten grandchildren, Kim Sementelli, Tonia Patton, Anthony Seal, Troy Fitzgerald, David Seal, Jonathan Fitzgerald, Jason Fitzgerald, Tammy Caul, Karen Hughes, Charlie Berry, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and Betty Harding of Waynesboro.

She was a storekeeper at Fitzgerald Grocery in Roseland and Afton, VA She was a member of Beech Grove Christian Church.

Family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Crozet Baptist Church, 5804 St. George Avenue, Crozet, VA 22932.

Family and friends will meet at Crozet Baptist Church at 11:am, one hour prior to the funeral service at 12:00 pm, on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Interment will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery in Roseland with Rev. David Collyer officiating.
