Daisy S. Fitzgerald (89) passed away peacefully on July 4, 2022. She was born in Charlottesville, VA on November 10, 1932 to the late Clarence H. Shifflett and Nellie F. Shifflett. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Percy C. Fitzgerald Jr. and her son Larry A. Fitzgerald. She is survived by her son, William (Steve) Fitzgerald (Cathy), brother Calvin Shifflett (Delores) and granddaughter, Melissa P. Fitzgerald along with several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a very special family friend, Melissa Estes, who was her loving caretaker over the past several years and was with her when the angels took her home. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Methodist Church, White Hall, VA and loved to sing in the choir and will now sing with the Angels.

A graveside service will be officiated by Rev. Samuel Plymale on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at Monticello Memorial Gardens, Charlottesville, VA
