Obituary

Eric Dale Price went to be with the Lord and received his wings on May 15, 2016. A beloved son, father, brother and a friend to many. Eric was born on May 21, 1976 to Joan M. Sipe and Charles D. Price.
In 1996 Eric suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury due to an automobile accident which also left him blind. The months turned into years and with all the changes that Eric and his body went through; he still gave his family new memories to remember. He could make you smile and he was always so very thankful for everything you did for him. He often expressed the trillion percent of love that he had for you. Eric had a heart of gold and would say some of the sweetest things that you knew was not rehearsed or from memory. It just reminded you of the caring and loving man he had always been.
In addition to his parents Eric is also survived by his two sons; Tyler Moody and Eric Ryan Price of Mechanicsville, Va. the mother of his children Tanya D. Moody. His step mother, Brenda F. Price, His devoted sister Brandy A. Marsh and husband Jimmy of Kents Store, Va. And his brother Michael Wood of Stuarts Draft, Va. Eric also left behind a close friend Charlie Branham.
Maternal grandmother – Lottie Harris of Crozet, Va. Uncles: Gary Sipe and wife Stephanie of Crozet Va. Lester Price of Fork Union Va.
Aunts: Gail Truslow and husband Timmy of Louisa, Va., and Rochelle Sipe of Buckingham Va.
Four nieces Catera, Calista, Cassie and Cayse Marsh and one nephew Caden Marsh. Eric is survived by numerous cousins.
Pallbearers - Jimmy Marsh, Corbin Gunsallus, David Mawyer, Chris Mawyer, Michael Wood, Jeff Gunsallus, Henry Graves and Tony Floyd.
Honorable Pallbearers – will be niece's nephew and cousins.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services for family and friends. Services will be at 2:00 Monday May 23, 2016 at Mt. Ed Baptist Church, 1606 Craigs Store Rd. Batesville, Va. 22924
The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the caregivers over the past 20 years who helped take care of Eric. It takes special people, love and patience to give care to those who have disabilities. You know who you are and we "thank-you!"
