Grace Viola Byers, 81, of Crozet, Virginia went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2012. She was born on October 29, 1931 in Huntingdon County Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late, Emery Varner and Cora Varner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence M. Byers and five brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda B. Graves and her husband Michael D. Graves, of Ruckersville, Virginia, Gloria E. Frazier of Troy, Virginia; three grandchildren, Dawn G. Wells and husband, Jonathan W. Wells, Jeffrey S. Graves and Lori A. Sites; seven great-grandchildren, Abigale R. Wells, Naomi E. Wells, Nathan J. Wells, Lorren A. Davis, Caitlin M. Davis, Cassie Davis, and Colt M. Davis.

She retired from Sperry and was a member of the Crozet Baptist Church, Crozet Volunteer Fire Department, Pilot Club, Red Hatters, and enjoyed traveling the United States and Aboard.

Grace was well known and loved in her community and had many dear friends. She will be missed.

A funeral service will be held at the Crozet Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, 28, 2012.
Interment will follow at the Rockgate Cemetery. Rev. Sam Kellum will officiate.
