Grover Samuel Mawyer, Jr.'s Obituary
Grover Samuel Mawyer, Jr., age 81, of Staunton, Virginia, died on November 16, 2017, at his home. He was the son of the late Grover Samuel Mawyer, Sr. and Cora Mae Kirby Mawyer.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly M. Saddlewhite of Waynesboro, sister Peggy Pugh of Waynesboro, brothers David Mawyer (Jackie) of Batesville and Jerry Mawyer of Waynesboro. Also surviving are 1 niece and 3 nephews. Also preceded in death by one nephew, Dale Pugh.
He worked as a security officer but had been retired for 18 years. He was a veteran of the US Army.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, 11 AM at Mt Ed Baptist Church in Batesville, with Rev. Ronald Nickell Jr. officiating.
