Harvey P. Humphreys' Obituary
Harvey Page Humphreys,59, of Crozet, died at a local nursing home on April 6, 2014. He was born on September 30, 1954 in Albemarle County the son of the late Virgil Humphreys.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene (Susie) Humphreys, his mother, Edna C. Humphreys of Crozet; one brother, Larry Humphreys and wife Theresa of Batesville, VA; one daughter, Melissa Ripley of Crozet, VA; one son, Greg Fitzgerald of Charlottesville, VA; two grandchildren, Brianna Ripley of Crozet, VA; and Nathan Shifflett of Charlottesville, VA.
Family will receive friends at the Anderson Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 6-8 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Crozet Baptist Church and internment will follow at Rockgate Cemetery with Rev. David Collyer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Crozet Baptist Church, 5804 St. George Avenue, Crozet, VA 22932
