James Frederick "Fred" Brown, Jr. passed away at his home in Apex, NC at the age of 58. Fred was born December 10, 1956 in Sumter, SC to his now deceased father, James F. Brown and surviving mother, Lucille M. Brown. He is also survived by two brothers, Steven M. Brown and William C. Brown, both of Crozet, VA and a nephew, Christopher Brown and his wife, Susan and their children, Madison and Jack also of Crozet. Fred's infectious love of music and his love of nature as reflected in his photography was no secret to those who knew him. He was proud of his career in the electronics industry, holding two patents in the electro-acoustic field of telephony. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
