James E Fardy of Crozet, VA peacefully took the
night train out on January 29, 2024 to be with our
Heavenly Father.

James was known on the radio station WHBI in
the 70's as J the DJ and moved into a security
position in the late 80's at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.
In the early 90's he helped to open the Dairy Queen as a cook and worked
at Con Agra Foods.

Quoting the bible, Elvis Presley and signing his cards as
J the DJ,
this man had a great heart, knew no stranger, always
tried to help anyone he could and loved unconditionally.

James is survived by his sons, Thomas Fardy, Carl Fardy;
stepson Fiore Fardy;
and 2 grandchildren, Christopher Atkinson and Carol Meadows
