Jean Frances Lockridge Snead, 90, of Crozet died April 19, 2014 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born Junee 13, 1923 in Bath County a daughter of the late Stuart and Lena Vines Lockridge. She was preceded in death by Robert M. Snead, two brothers and three sisters.
She was a member of Crozet Baptist Church and retired from Morton's Frozen Foods with 28 years of service.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Mason "Butch" Snead and wife Debbie, William Allen "Buddy" and wife Wanda all of Crozet, and Stuart Melton "Sonny" Snead of Ivy.
One daughter Mrs. Douglas "Pat" Shull of Waynesboro, and six grandchildren, Connie Jean, Sherri, Tony,Randy,Jennifer and Jeffrey and nine great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her beloved Dog Lady and she was known for her love of Bingo.
Active pallbearers will be Tony Shull, Randy Snead, Jeffrey Snead, Dylan Johnson, Dustin Morris, Trenton Snead and Matt Hilderbrand.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Crozet Baptist Church on St. George Avenue in Crozet, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23. 2014 at 2:00 pm.at Crozet Baptist Church. Internment will follow at Rockgate Cemetery will Rev. David Collyer officiating and Colleen Swingle-Titus officiating.
