Joseph M
Brannan
Jan 3, 1960 — Aug 7, 2022
Joseph "Buddy" Brannan, age 62, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle
with cancer on Sunday, August 7, 2022, in his home. He was born January 3, 1960,
in Atlanta, Georgia to W.O. and Kathleen (Rozier) Brannan. Buddy joined the
United States Navy in 1979 and served until 1984. His ship, USS America CV-66
held a special place in his heart. He met the love of his life, Elizabeth "Blair"
Brannan (Austin) in 1987. Buddy worked as a mechanic most of his life and had a
love for Nascar. His passion for music was instilled in him at a young age and
those who knew him would describe his voice as angelic. Buddy was very
knowledgeable on historical facts as well as cars and he enjoyed sharing his
wisdom with those around him. He is survived by his wife, Blair Brannan;
children, Brittney Gaydon, Blair (Richard) Silva, Robert (Angel) Austin;
grandchildren, Beighley and Clay Austin, Lucas, Gaven, and Talulah Silva;

and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
