Katherine C. Newecomb's Obituary
Katherine C. Newcomb, 63, of Greenwood, VA died at a local hospital on August 10, 2013. She was born on December 27, 1949 in Leesburg, VA to the late John Churchhill Newcomb and Edith Carlisle.
She is survived by a son, Demian Warner of New York City, NY; a sister, Penelope Oldham Newcomb of Westmore, Vermont, and many relatives and friends.
She was a Mediator and founder of a non-profit project, "The Little Red Cap." She was involved in restorative justice as well as humanitarian work here and abroad.
A memorial service will be held in New Hampshire at a later date.
Anderson Funeral Home in Crozet is in charge of arrangements.
