Leo John Carver of Crozet died on March 3, 2019, at his home.  He is survived by his wife Pamela L. Carver and two children, Liane C. Via and husband, Darrell and Kevin Carver; two grandchildren Emily Gentry and husband Stephen (Scootie) Gentry, and Kyle Watson; 3 great-grandchildren, Aidan, Stephen and Hannah, 1 sister Peg Pitius of New Jersey and other nieces and nephews, family and friends, and good friend Ashley Lacy.

He was the son of the late John Leo Carver and Anna Musial Carver of Pennsylvania, born on June 5, 1942,  and was predeceased by siblings, Anne Carver Sladek, Andrew Carver and Jack Carver.

He worked as a mechanic for Bel Air Service Center and he retired in 2004.  He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and Cuban Missile crisis.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved the outdoors and his family, The New England Patriots and was an awesome mechanic.

The family will meet for visitation  on March 7, 2019, at Anderson Funeral Home, from 6-8 PM.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday March 8, 2019 at Rockgate Cemetery in Crozet with Rev. Richard Hutchison.
