Mary B. Fields, 93, of Lyndhurst, VA passed away at her home on January 17, 2015. She was born on July 20, 1921 to the late Virgil and Nora Propes Batman in Shenanhoah, VA. She Married James Arthur Fields on July 11, 1936.

She is survived by her children, Charles Virgil Fields and wife Jackie, Peggy F. Davis, James Arthur Fields, Jr. and wife Helen. William C. Fields and wife Betty, sisters, Virginia B. McCourry and husband George, Emma Belle B. Rankin and husband Homer and her brother Walter Batman,, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Mary Loved her family and was kind and loving to everyone. She loved to talk with anyone she met.

Mary retired from Frank Ix in Charlottesville, VA and later worked for Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville, VA

Family will receive friends at the Anderson Funeral Home on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 5888 St. George Avenue in Crozet from 6-8 pm.

A funeral service will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 am, conducted by Pastor Chad Grondin of West Waynesboro Church of Christ.

Internment will follow at 1:00 pm in Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, VA
