Mary Alice Plummer's Obituary
Mary Alice Plummer, 87, died at a local assisted living facility on March 10, 2013. She was born on October 12, 1925 in Tampico, Mexico to the late Roy Burns Fuqua and Carrie Boggus Fuqua.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Plummer; her son, Hank Plummer; her parents Roy Burns Fuqua and Carrie Boggus Fuqua; her brother, Roy B. Fuqua, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Priscilla Wilkins of Morgantown, WV; her daughter Cynthia Cassin and son-in-law Richard Cassin of Crozet; grandsons, Michael Cassin and wife Megan of Woodbridge, VA, Joseph Cassin of Longview, TX, Harry Cassin of Singapore, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Billie Slaughter and Polly Wagnon.
The family wishes to thank all the staff of Morningside of Charlottesville for their care and kindness to Mary Alice, but especially the staff on the Bridge to Rediscovery Alzheimer's unit. The family is also very grateful to Hospice of the Piedmont for their caring assistance.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
