Michael Lee Valenti's Obituary
Michael Lee Valenti, 70, of Newport News, Virginia died at his residence on March 27, 2016. He was born on March 16, 1946 in Charlottesville, VA, the son of Charles Harris and the late Eva Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Jenkins Valenti and two sons, Tony Valenti of Newport News and Nicholas Valenti and wife, Meghan of Williamsburg two sisters, Diane Holdsworth and her husband Fred of Rocky Mount, NC, Patsy Ewers and her husband Barry of Keswick, one brother, Vincent "Peanut" Valenti and his wife Debbie Midlothian, four grandchildren, Olivia Valenti, Anthony Valenti, Rocco Valenti, and Amelia Valenti.
He was a loving and devoted family man, proud graduate of University of Virginia and a devoted fan, loved playing and watching sports.
Family suggest that memorial donations be made to the fight against Lung Cancer.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon at the Crozet Baptist Church and service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Roy Thomas, his cousin, conducting the service.
Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
