Nancy Rich Sheridan, 82, of White Hall died at her residence on September 3, 2014. She was born on January 13, 1932 in Bethleham, PA, the daughter of the late John Rich and Elsie Irene Unangst. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Flick Sheridan, one sister and one brother.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Sheridan Lawrence and husband, Robert of Stuarts Draft, VA; Michelle I. Sheridan of Crozet, VA; one son, John E. Sheridan II of Crozet, VA; and one granddaughter, Sheridan A. Lawrence, two brothers, Franklin Rich of Sandbridge, VA and Jesse Rich of Shepherdstown, PA.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Sentara, Linda Hyden and Dr. Cynthia Spalding at the Martha Jefferson Hospital for all their help and guidance during the illness of their mother. Also, thanks to Dave Vaden, Hospice of the Piedmont and all the neighbors in our circle that helped us during inclement weather and any other time that our family needed assistance. A special thanks to Anderson Funeral Home for devoted attention to my families needs. Love from my heart Nancy Sheridan.

A private graveside service was held on Saturday, September 6. 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Sheridan Family Cemetery on CCC Road in White Hall, VA with Rev. David Collyer Officiating.
