Phyllis Mae Pugh Cook, 70, of Crozet, Virginia passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013. Phyllis was born on May 30, 1943 to the late Samuel W. Pugh and Elizabeth Pugh Taylor. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Pugh Bond, four nephews, Mark Pugh, Bobby Dale Morris, Jeff Morris and Kendall Bond.
She is survived by her brother, Randolph (Joyce) of Crozet, Virginia; sister, Barbara Sipe (Warren) of Chesapeake, Virginia; brother, Eddie Taylor of Verona, Virginia. She is also survived by her aunt, Mildred Wood of Crozet, VA; and a brother-in-law, Linwood Bond of Callahan, Florida. She is survived by serveral nieces and nephews, Patricia Ann Wade (Jim), Mary Kay Wasdin (John) Ricky Pugh (Sandy); Kenny Bond (Judy), all of Callahan, Florida; Greg Pugh (Donna) of Crozet, Virginia; Steve Pugh (Ann) Clearwater, Florida, and Kevin Pugh. She is also survived by several cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
Phyllis worked for many years at ACME Visible Records in Crozet, Virginia and later retired from Goodwill Industries in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The family wishes to thank the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department, Western Albemarle Rescue Squad and Albemarle County Police Department.

There will be a celebration of Phyllis' life from 6 until 8 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel.
