Phyllis A. Shaver, 62, of Arrington, VA died at the University of Virginia Hospital on May 25, 2016, She was born in Charlottesville, VA on September 17, 1953 to the late James and Nellie Shifflett. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Shifflett.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin H. Shaver of Arrington, VA; two sons, Jeffery Shaver of Crozet, Dennis Proffitt Jr. of Nelson County; three daughters, Wendy Shifflett of Greene County, Pansy Shaver of Crozet and Vicky Shaver of North Carolina; one sister, Linda Lively of Esmont, VA and one brother, Stanley Shifflett of Charlottesville, VA.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel from 7-9 pm.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. John The Baptist Episcopal Church in Ivy, VA. Pastor Jeff Villio will officiate.
