Sanford Elwood Kephart 66, of Crozet, passed away at a local hospital on Friday, January 4, 2013.
He was born on July 11, 1946, in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He was the son of the late Olin Kephart and Dorothy Morris Kephart. He was raised by his foster parents, Cecil and Ruby Knight, both deceased.
Ellwood is survived by his brother, Lawrence Kephart of Crozet; special friends, Keith and Mary Ellen Ford; and a host of friends at Faith Mission Home.
Elwood was employed by ConAgra Foods of Crozet for 27 years.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the family cemetery at his home in Boonesville, Virginia
