Wilbert Jackson Ferguson, 79, of Crozet died on October 28, 2013 at the Augusta Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 29, 1934 in Nelson County to the late Buster J and Ethel R. Ferguson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rena Dodson Ferguson and daughter, Phyllis Ferguson Accamondo.
He is survived by three daughters, Sandra Morris and husband Scott,
Wilma Shumate and husband Tom, and Cindy Houchens and husband Chucky; five grandchildren, Deanna Graves, husband Brad, Bert Critzer and wife Kimberly, Eric Critzer and wife Jessica, Russ Dodson, and Kimberly Leagan; seven great-grandchildren and sister, Stella Hughes, and special friend Barbara Marshall.
He was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church in Afton, VA and retired from Virginia ABC Board.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Anderson Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Afton, VA with Rev. Billy Coffey officiating.
